The System Statistics application is a range of numerical data compiled and gathered by the system to assist in comprehending the frequency of the Intranet’s use.  

It is designed to enhance the quality of decisions made by the System Administrator, or another User who is entrusted with this responsibility, that regards the Intranet and the way it is implemented within the organization. 

This application measures, the number of logins per day, application usage, the total number of logins for each user, total storage space occupied between Shared folders and Home Folders.  

The System Stats application is one of the applications located in the System Tools section.

1.       Within the Content Browser, click on the plus sign (+) next to System Tools.

 

2.       Within the Content Browser, click on the System Statistics application, which is listed below System Tools.

 Note: If you are unable to perform steps 1 and 2, then you do not have access to the System Statistics      

 application.

 Note: System Activities and System Storage figures are listed.

Average Number of  Logins per day:  Displays the total average number of Users that have logged in per day within the entered time period.  Make sure to enter the desired time period and then click Refresh.  Click Reset to bring you to the current time period.

Application usage (number of applications/folders opened): Click the Display button to list the applications and folders and the number of times each was accessed since the system was implemented. 

Number of Logins (for each user)Click the Display button to list the Users of the system and the number of times each User has logged into the system since its implementation.

Total Storage Space Occupied: Lists the total number of storage space occupied in bytes.

Shared Folders: Lists the total number of storage space used for applications and folders that are accessible and utilized company-wide in bytes.

Home Folders: Click the Display button to list the system Users and the amount of storage space each uses for their Home Folders.  Folders and Applications only accessible by that User.
